At the School of War.
For some time now, Aaron MacLean’s School of War has been one of the smartest listens on war and security affairs. I had the privilege of speaking with him on the latest episode, on the U.S. southern-border crisis. I encourage you to have a listen — especially if you’re missing The Hard Country while it’s on summer hiatus. Understanding the crisis in U.S.-Mexico relations as a national-security challenge, rather than strictly an immigration challenge, is key to grasping its full scope — and the difficult steps necessary to master it.
